I’ve had problems with my batteries always running down, even with the main switch off, what gives?

You have a parasitic battery drain of some kind, most likely the bilge pump float-switch is sticking in the on position, allowing the bilge pump to run continuously, hence running the battery down, or you may have a situation where the iNR module is drawing power, running your batteries down.
Here’s a full guide we published regarding your bilge pump, how to ensure it’s not stuck, dirty, etc.

Second, on some boats, the iNR module can drain the batteries, even with the main battery switch off, because it is hooked to direct battery power. BRP now recommends moving the iNR module to switched power, and we wrote a guide showing you how to do this. Doing this will prevent the iNR from possibly depleting your battery, and better protect the module as well.
