What to Do:

1) Put the boat into the water & start it up for at least 5 minutes.

2) Now that the engine oil is hot, unscrew the Oil Cap & remove the Dipstick & insert the Oil Pump Tube down into the Dipstick Tube. Now pump the dirty engine oil out.

3) So what about the old engine oil in the Engine’s Oil Pump? By removing the Kill Switch Key under the throttle will NOT allow the Engine to Turn Over, so that won’t work. On the Port Side of your boat, in the back just in front of the Battery Switch is a Black Plastic Fuse Box. Remove the plastic cover & look for (3) 10A Fuses called CYL. 1, 2, & 3. Remove these 3 fuses and your Engine will now Turn Over, but will not start.

4) Also, remove the 10A fuse for the Fuel Pump.

5) Turn the Engine Over, waiting a few minutes after each time. Pump out the dirty engine oil that has come from the Engine Oil Pump. Do this about 6 times.

6) You should have pumped out about 3 quarts of dirty engine oil.

7) Now install the new Engine Oil into your motor.

8) Replace the Old Oil Filter & O-Rings.

9) Turn the engine over 3 times to fill the Oil Filter & check your oil level.

10) Replace the (4) 10A Fuses.

11) Here is a Video for you regarding changing the Engine Oil & Oil Filter. Note: A Sea-Doo Jet Ski uses the same Rotax Engine as what we have in our boats.
